Yoga for sex therapy
April 16th 2007 23:53
Instead this turned out to be Yoga for reproduction unless I missed something.
It seems to be pretty good advice, and in the event that one helps the other I am continuing as if this were appropiately titled.
I've never been a YOGA fan, mainly because it has not fitted into my lifestyle to go to the classes, but at the same time I do recognise that as a therapy for all sorts of things it has a lot to offer.
It's headed - Yoga steps for a better sex life!!!!
"A sedentary life at home or work, smoking, high blood pressure, certain medications, excessive stress and deficiency of key nutrients (zinc, magnesium, iron, folates, vitamin Bs, vitamin C) can all affect the reproductive system adversely.
To combat this, Shameem Akthar, recommends six yoga exercises that focus on the last chakra at the perineum (also referred to as the mooladhara chakra) to rejuvenate and repair the uro-genital system.
By proxy, the adrenal glands (which are involved with our biological response to stress) are also massaged, thus making such yogic therapy to fertility problem a holistic one".
I think I'll leave the rest of the article for you to check out yourselves and how the one equates to the other is something of a mystery to me.

What you say is true, Ash, but these problems usually need counselling, for sex, rather than reproduction, but it probably can't do any harm.
The problem is that trying and waiting for solutions can take forever.
For me, it's just doing what comes naturally, but for others this may not be so easy.
