World Art -Cezanne, Au claire de la Lune, Bronze Cat in the Hat and katyzzz

There is a wide range of Cezanne images attached to the links I've given you, plus I've added another two links to provide a little variety.
Cezanne was a French Artist [1839-1906] born in Provence. His father decided he should be a lawyer, but Cezanne rejected this idea, abandoning his legal studies and encouraged by his literary friend, of now considerable renown, Emile Zola, went to Paris, returning there repeatedly to further his artistic knowledge.
He settled for impressionism concentrating on the effects of light and atmosphere. By his death he had become known for his interest in the form and figure of the Nude in relation to the landscape.
The Cat in the Hat, cast wonderfully in Bronze, will have a certain audience with those familiar with the Dr.Zeuss series.
Au claire de la Lune is based on a poem/song and is very engaging.
Enjoy your quest into Cezanne and those other features.
Let me know what you think of it all and of my art, too.

I like Cezanne. I don't usually like the less realistic style of painting figures, but Cezanne appeals to me.

Adele,
Nice to have your views, they seem to have changed the voting system already, I think that is a retrograde move, we need to have some value placed on our participation, it seems we get little else.
Great to have your visit,

This has never happened before. I know how this part of the system normally works.
I've notified Jon and tested on another post, it seemed to be right on the other post, so I'll follow through with it.
All of the changes and the consumption of time, for virtually no return is very annoying.
Thanks for being such a loyal supporter, I'll follow through when I've managed to sort things out a little.
I was intending to have the weekend Orble free but it hasn't worked out that way.
