What price Beauty?

May 9th 2007 05:44
Beauty at any price
Signature Tune

Would you go to these lengths at this cost just to stay looking beautiful?

There has to be more to life than looks alone.

As the old expression goes "Beauty is only skin deep"

Unbelievable pic - the price of beauty - would you?

Beauty is not everything. i've met soo many people i thought where beautiful, then got to know them, and they where not beautiful anymore. i think beauty is in how you act and treat the world around you. beauty only last sooo long!!!

MN,

I don't think I could do a Buddha, only abstract, and with the colours I usually use to indicate Buddhism.

I'll see what I can do but I can't say when.

Tammy,

You're so right, a beautiful person has nothing to do with their physical appearance and there are some very beautiful people in the world, thank goodness.

I'm confused, how long does the gold stay on for? It looks very uncomfortable let alone the cost.....I just couldn't be bothered with all the emphasis on stopping the ageing process......ahhhhh, I just believe in some common sense (Ie washing, cleansing etc) and then appreciating beauty wherever it might be....which is in so many spots if you ask me....

I believe in ageing gracefully, assisted by not smoking, not too much sun and a healthy diet with milk, fruit and vegetables.

Inner beauty is something else again.

Thanks for the visit and comments, Tracy.

Katyzzz,

now that is a little "over the top" for me!

I'm of the belief that beauty comes from the "inside" first, as I have met some incredibly beautiful "looking" people, who were rotted, slimey and festered "inside"...

And beauty maybe only skin deep, but ugly goes clean through to the bone...

Love the gold in this one..

Take care,

Nick

Physical beauty is such a fleeting thing..makes me kind of sad to see all of the millions spent each year trying to cheat age, when age is inevitable. Inner beauty lasts a lifetime, on the other hand.
