Test your observational skills
June 1st 2008 00:58
Since my recent post on observational skills, I've decided it would be a good idea if I gave you three carefully selected computer art designs for you to observe both the similarities and the differences. There will be plenty there so don't rest on your laurels, will you?
These ones are not there to see how they effect your emotions and what your mind tells you about them or suggests to you, but these are there for the specific purpose of testing your observational skills, preserving them, and hopefully assisting to improve your memory.
You are not required to remember them, just to look, look and look again, noting even small differences and similarities and the variations in the colours used.
I'll leave them with you but at the end of the post I'll suggest the numbers you may expect to achieve, so click on that brain switch and use those neurons and hopefully develop some new ones.
Do let me know how you go.
Now the trick with these is to look within each design as well as between each design. I've made this one relatively easy, the next one will be more difficult.
You should be able to observe between 70 and 100 similarities and differences, depending how "picky" you are, but there are a few little tricks, so look out for them.
Involve the family and others to make it more fun, each of you will try to outdo the other, that will be good for your mental acuity, too.
Your comments would be well received.
