For those with memories of Tuscany, Italy

Sunflowers bloom under a brilliant blue sky between the towns of Siena and San Gimignano in Italy's Tuscany region.

In the Tuscan countryside people start their day quite early, just before dawn, but wind down in the early afternoon for siesta.

Shops reopen in late afternoon and dinner usually isn't served until 9 p.m.

Fell in love with that beautiful country after spending some time there. Love Italy in all its splendor -- history, culture, food, wine...

Lara and Chic,

This was obviously a most enjoyable experience for you. It sounds really wonderful.

I'm glad this came up for you.

Hi Katyzzz...Florence and Siena were romantic legs of our honeymoon. Totally fell in love with Florence - walking alongside the Arno toward Michelangelo's square; sipping coffee and watching from the square as the sun prepares to set over the whole place, admiring David's buttocks; climbing endless stairs toward the top of the duomo...sigh...it's a trip I'll remember for the rest of my life.

How beautiful! I've never been to Italy but would love to go sometime. I love the way that a lot of the countries on the continent are so laid back, beats the rushing about we have here in the UK. Also they are seem so much more family orientated which makes me envious.

Take Care.

That's wonderful to hear, Aimz, all my well travelled friends and the memory and the melody lingers on.

Wise words and true Sarah and I do hope you get to Italy before too many years have passed.
