A quick flit through three books a day
April 11th 2007 02:09
Of course, this suggestion is for non-fiction readers only but it would be interesting to know how readers of fiction feel about these things too.
If it's something different from what you'd normally do, it's good brain exercise as it would encourage growth of cross connections which will eventually be beneficial as you get older or as you acquire those nasty little plaques in the brain.
NonAnon promotes these views and he gives an interesting account of the pain his many books lying around the house go through as they lay open but turned over putting undue stress on their spines and other areas, as you can imagine.
To give the author due credit his blog is available via the following link
He does give some book reviews which may interest some of you also.
Comments, which I receive far too few of, would be very much appreciated.

Im very sympathetic to all my books. Even that damn bible Im reading doesnt get dog eared pages, or left open or laying in the sun....Book abuse is terrible. The poor books....
BTW, if you are a non believer of witches and spells, do you then believe in miracles or supernatural at all? Just wondering.

I do believe in the supernatural, ESP, clairvoyance etc, I believe in miracles and have been granted some, but they seem to come at a very great cost.
I understand your concerns about religion, but you are doing a hard read there.
Thanks for all your visits, I really appreciate them.

You really made me smile, which, too, is good for my brain.
Delighted to see you,
