Peach Blossom Skin and
Honey Dew eyes
The coming together
with magnetic attraction
Lips so sweet
like elderberry wine
clouds and soft moonbeams
prism like shine
of glistening rainbows
and dew on the ground
Of spots specks and flickerings
of fingers entwined
Moon shadows, sun beams,
Water and springs
caresses so sweet
making everything sing
lovers and loving
be my love
marry me
come hither and yon
on grasses and swings
drink to me only
with thine eyes
join with me completely
our hearts intertwined
trace out the finger prints
count every freckle
hands fondling hair
and silky white satin
soft colours and pastels
and tiny soft feet
two become one
with one heart that beats
powerful and strong
and the beating of hooves
of noble black stallions
that cover the beat
soft petalled flowers
and exquisite design
traced with our fingers
that link 'neath the vine
Galloping hooves and
gentle warbles of dawn
the awaking of sunrise
and dusk of the evening
kindle the flame of the fire
as lovers speak 'tween them
the language of love.
