Where it all began.

starting with mspaintart
Signature Tune

It all started with katyzzz really, and a considerable amount of naivity.

I scarcely knew what a blog was and started off with some blogger blogs, all totally unsuccessful really.

I thought what a good idea it would be to encourage older people to do things which would help prevent alzheimer's disease and the use of computers was thought to relieve depression in older people and I'm sure it does.

The trouble is older people don't generally use computers and so what I intended was to give some encouragement to them to become computer literate.

Trouble was older people don't read blogs and don't have computers and they jolly well don't want them, so what I was trying to do was doomed to failure right from the start.

Then I thought if I can't get through to them I'll try to get through to the families, but no, they weren't interested either and my humble efforts with MS Paint were regarded with a degree of disdain.

Families would need to get involved if this were to have any chance of success and that is what started as conversations in the family and you know there are still some people reading those blogs on a daily basis.

The image I have used as my signature tune was the first image I started off with after some years of not attempting any computer art at all and then finding that the basic programming had changed but adapt I would and adapt I did.

What I should have mentioned was that I discovered Orble by accident, not dreaming that it would be a hot bed of the most unacceptable expletives in no way becoming to the writer's image most bloggers professed they wanted to convey.

They were not exercising any freedom of expression just simply hopping on the popularity bandwagon of those fellow bloggers of like mind ( if you could call it that) and I soon found myself an outcast.

There's less of the swearing now, some seem to have grown up just a little, but there are still a lot of things I find unpleasant and I certainly would not regard this as a family friendly site, and I am somewhat bemused at the use of the word maturity as I see much immaturity around me.

Be that as it may, I thought a minimum rate of return would be acceptable as I had a message to bring and for that purpose a degree of altruism could be considered appropriate, the days passed, the weeks rolled on, the months flew and the years crawled by, I might just as well work for free really.

I'm not too sure how much I have done for other people's brains but I have certainly taxed mine turning out no end of my little designs and soon moving over to Paint.Net which I found more satisfactory that MS Paint but still having certain problems, every now and again I lack any kind of inspiration but seemingly some more then comes.

It's been a roller coaster ride of minimal success but a roller coaster, of itself, can be fun, I've made more enemies than friends but friends have popped up from time to time and that has been rather nice.

There are some meaningful posts amongst the clutter and I am going to revisit them and make some suggestions and actually produce some original material now that I have such a
collection of works from which to draw.

Maybe my motivation has changed along the way and I've long ago given up on the thoughts of millionaire via the net. I''m not a big enough crook to promote and promise the squillions that can be made simply by suggesting such a thing is possible and promising to help you on your way, once you have paid just this amount of $$$'s followed soon after by some more etc etc.

The most genuine I have come across really sounded very sincere, offering that if I divested myself of a mere $3000, even if I borrowed it, they would put some money my way, at least sufficient to pay the bills.

It strikes me I can pay a lot of bills already with $3000, and of course, Great Uncle Harry, who seems to be everyone's Uncle Harry has left me such vast sums of money but they send me an email without even my name on it.

I guess Uncle Harry had a lot of relatives.

And of course the UK Lottery office has popped my email address into their little machine and guess who the winner was? No, it can't be you, too, it's only ME.

And so the internet mega millions roll happily on waiting to find an instant home, strange that such sums are not beating their way to my doorstep.

They tell me little about them, but sure want to know a lot about me.

And of course my story has just begun and I'll be bringing you more, but it seems I have a lot of homework to do, but it will be interesting, I'm sure, well, at least for me.

And not a swear word to be seen.

Clever, aren't I?

Hey Katyzzz I don' why with so many words to pick from, people use so little imagination in choosing their words. Using curse words doesn't make a person look smarter, and does show a lack of common decency.

Thanks Lester, well said, I could not agree more and there are certainly so many other more worthwhile words to choose from, such a poverty of vocabulary and with such an intent as to offend.

Thank you so much for your visit and comments.
