Swans adopt baby geese
Aug 4 - A pair of swans are bringing up four baby grey geese in Germany.
The unusual family has become a common sight in the eastern German town of Fuerstenberg, although no one knows how the swans ended up looking after the little goslings.
Locals are speculating about two possible theories, whether a group of raccoons killed the geese's biological parents and the swans adopted them, or whether the swans pushed the goose parents out and took over their nest.
Joanna Partridge reports.
