During REM, our brain, it could be said, "exercises", we dream, fidget, roll over, moan and talk in our sleep, even adjust the blankets without fully awakening. When we wake during the night, either for no apparent reason or to go to the bathroom it is from this REM state



This is a good site. It gives lots of information re babies and sleep, which can be a nightmare for some families, teenagers and adults.

Please note, the current recommendation is that adult females need 9 hours sleep, males only 8 hours, it's gone up an hour on what it used to be.

I'm giving the link here and will also use Orbles link so we'll see how it goes.
