Was she a virgin REALLY? Thats what interests me....I sometimes have this weird feeling my mynah bird is going to lay eggs....And they will hatch.....And I'll find out that the reason theyre outbreeding all the other birds is because they are actually asexual!

Katyzz,

a whole range of animals can reproduce in just this way...asexually...frogs, toads, birds, most reptiles, and eventhe occasional mammal..

The one thing that does truly bother me, is the fact that if nature is being threatened on such a grand scale that non-human species are resorting to this kind of unusual reproductive behavior due to over-crowding, over hunting and over fishing an environmental collapses, where does that leave humanity?

Will a human female have a verified, document case of a "virgin" birth next? If that does happen, it's either going to be one of the most historical and religious events in human history, or it may be a sign of the apocalypse!

Great video and post!

Take care,

Nick

Is she going to be able to produce a he, that is the question.

And Kleo, you've been told about the birds and the bees, haven't you?

Nick, I thought frogs eggs had to be fertilised etc. Very hygienic practice it seems. Provided of course that the water is not polluted.
