Sexy billboard promotes divorce - should it be taken down?

Sexy Billboard - Divorce
Signature Tune

Attorney Corri Fetman talks about the removal of her law firm's controversial billboard (May 9).

What are your views on this? Could it only happen in the US. Doesn't it give out the wrong message?

I'd really like to hear your views.

It's a very good video.

Well, maybe I'm not the best representative of Americans here; this is my personal opinion only.

It seems to be an attempt at humor. That is how I would interpret it. Since I don't allow billboards to influence my decisions, whether it's kept up or not matters little to me.

As for children out there who may see that--the biggest impression they're going to have about marriage is generated in their own home, I think. Again, a billboard wouldn't have that much influence, do you think?

Obviously the firm that placed it there thinks it does.

It seems to imply that marriage is all about sex.

And that sex is all about a great physique and scanty underwear.

Sex is really very basic.

I do agree about the influence of the home, but I think some homes are not a good influence and it is very easy to get carried away by the thought of cheap thrills rather than the substance of life.

It is certainly getting a lot of publicity.

Katuzzz,

just saw an interview about this today and the city's reaction to it...they even showed the billbaord...

I dunno, I kinda think it tears at the sanctity of marriage in general..

Take care,

Nick

I agree with you Nick, I rather think it tears at a lot of things, including the heartache and suffering some experience as a result.

True, true..but don't you think that anyone who'd be that shallow about marriage would be better off not being in one until they grew up?

The type who would take that billboard to heart, I mean.

I see so many people treating marriage like it's a disposable thing..bringing kids into the world from it then throwing it away for selfish, shallow reasons, which leaves the kids...where?

That just infuriates me...
