US remembers 9/11 attacks

Sep. 11 - Four separate ceremonies are taking place exactly seven years after al Qaeda militants hijacked four airliners and killed almost 3,000 people.
Relatives of victims killed at the World Trade Center gathered at ground zero in lower Manhattan for readings from dignitaries and a recitation of the names of the dead.
Meanwhile, In Washington, DC, President Bush and first lady Laura Bush marked the anniversary during a moment of silence on the South Lawn of the White House.
