Pope delivers mass in Washington.

40,000 people filled up the stands at Nationals Ballpark to hear Pope Benedict XVI deliver his first papal mass in the American capital.

To the strains of "Holy God We Praise Thy Name," Benedict circled the grounds of the new stadium in his pope mobile as throngs-- young and old waved-- papal flags heralding his arrival.

Although I am tempted to make a nasty comment, I admire his determination to make the church accountable; I laud that katyzzz, especially when the accompanying cardinal's look miffed about his actions.
