Why the hell did they let it stay there for 55 years?

Ouch. And... how did it get there in the first place?

Makes you wonder.

Yes, it was a bit short on information wasn't it Dianna,

it's possible that it wasn't causing any problems previously so didn't need any action or was considered too risky and with advancing surgery techniques and/or deleterious effects on her the time was now considered to be right.

Yes, one wonders, doesn't one, about how it got there in the first place, maybe up through the eye socket but it would have been one hell of a pencil.

A little explanation in English would not have gone astray.

There are many, if rare, extraordinary things happen in life, you're only just commencing your journey, things will shock you less as you get older but maybe more in some ways, as for me I think manners and feelings and how people handle their sexuality have hit an all time low, but if one goes back far enough, I guess things were infinitely worse.

I think we have to value family and that takes some personal sacrifice and to-day's generation are not into that, of course I am generalising and well, back to the pencil......

Have a good day, don't be too much of a workaholic, you've plenty of time left and youth is meant to be enjoyed.

I heard this one on the radio, I was just perplexed at how long it had been there. I wonder what condition it was in when they pulled it out?

Your artwork today really sums it up for me.

Enjoy today

On the images it looked in good condition, they seem to have pulled it out in pieces.

Lovely to see you Catherine and thanks for the nice compliment.

Ah well, little kids will shove things up their noses

Maybe she remembered putting it in there, but only just got around to seeing about it LOL.

Hey! What side of your brain are you using if you've got a pencil stuck in your head?
- The write side.

Apologies to Ms Wegner. The story says she fell over while carrying the pencil when she was four.

"The pencil went right through my skin -- and disappeared into my head,"

OUCH!!!!

It's certainly a weird one, which seems to have struck a cord [or should I say a pencil] with people.

Of course the memory of what happened when you were four would be a little hard to cope with, seeing that her understanding of basic anatomy at that age would have been a little short, if she' s only just remembered perhaps she's been doing my brain exercises or else the pencil slipped, maybe it was just below the scalp and didn't get to the brain.

Must start my German lessons again. Never did persevere with that one.

katyzzz....nice to have your visit.

Katyzzz,
Sorry it took me so long to reply Trying to minimalize the time spent on mom's boyfriend's computer.

Yeah, maybe.

Oh, maybe it was one of those giant pencils? And maybe someone stuck it through the ears? Although why...

As for valuing family... we're busy overpopulating the world with those 'values'. Any family I have-as in any kids-will be of the adopted variety.

Oh, I could complain endlessly about today's society if you let me... haha.

I'm rambling again. *Goes cross-eyed*
