A very local currency

A small English town wants to experiment with its own currency to boost the local economy. CNN's Jim Boulden reports

This sounds like a good idea, I wonder how it would fare against the Euro.

Of course, if they called it something other than a currency they could probably do it but keep it in the ~~family~~ town so to speak.

Of course, if it's a small enough town, a simple exchange of goods and services should suffice, just assigning each item a value.
