Memory camp for your brain
December 17th 2010 17:41
Memory Camp is a national program spearheaded by Lee Memorial Health System and encourages communities to build partnerships to improve cognitive function.
A scientifically research-based program developed by the director of the Center for Aging at the University of California at Los Angeles, it is a four-week class using strategies and exercises to help participants remember everyday things.
Memory camp is open to all ages, but is not a course for those who have been diagnosed with memory loss or signs of memory loss.
There is a $20 charge for the complete program and an additional cost of $10 if you purchase a memory book.
For a schedule of classes with dates and locations, go to Really Long Link or call 239-772-6757 for more information.
