This is now, of course, a museum piece, a bit like myself, but I'll make due enquiry about your journals.
I didn't realise they kept that sort of thing in those days, we live and learn, so much for oral history.

I bought some very old vehicles and surprisingly enough, in the infamous glove compartment-next to the built in pistol holster in one of them was a road diary, written by a fella with the initials HF???
