GADGETS
Gadgets are cool, fun and occasionally transformative, but what really interests me are the implications of how technology affects our relationships, family life and society.
Writing about these issues from a parent's point of view has made me realize how radical it can be to bring up social concerns in a tech community that often operates from a libertarian point of view. I haven't always agreed with or appreciated the comments that I have received, but I have come to recognize the value of raising my voice in a community that does not typically look at issues through a mother's eyes
conversations about technology will evolve in a direction that includes a woman's point of view

She makes some good points for those who want to read further.

Luvs ya both, the photo has moved onto the next day, so press 2 and the false teeth will come up. I wonder if anyone realised, Quite a hoot really, but in other ways a shame, because without that effect it would be a great photo.

Small Thoughts on Big Questions
I think I'm missing the point about tech from a woman's point of view? Do women look at iPods differently than men? Then again, if I never played another video game again I don't think my wife's feeling would be hurt too much...
