Hi Katyzzz

These camps are dotted all over the country - you would be amazed what people make their houses out of. I am surprised that they live in the cemetary because most people are very superstitious and very respectful toward their ancestors.

The Government should be doing something about the housing. There is such a lack of support for the people in African countries. You couldn`t imagine it even at a huge stretch of the imagination, it is definitely something that you need to see with your own eyes to fully appreciate.

It looked pretty grim to me Ash and yet I was amazed at just how well that woman seemed to cope and how clean and fresh those boys looked going off to school.

They have so little but don't expect the world to create a living for them, they just get on with it.

We could learn something from that.

But, their living conditions are appalling and no water nor sanitation. Some of those people deserve to be called saints and they definitely need help from the Government.

It is wonderful to see how some treat their cause so sympathetically, rather than be so critical as happens here.

Good post, katyzzz..it's important to disseminate these stories so that the general public may become better informed about poverty in places other than their own..thank you.

Yes, I think so. But I still remain very impressed with that family's coping abilities. Not that that excuses the dreadful conditions in which they have to live.

I'd give my honours awards to people like that.

katyzzz...good to have your comments.

Perhaps the ancestors are helping these people, even if their governments are shamefully failing them.
