The Liver, Learning Paint.NET and Fun

MS Paint computer art learning
Signature tune

You'll wonder why I've made a quantum leap from the respiratory system and gone to the Liver.

There's no immediate connection.

The reason I have done this is because there are a number of blogs here dealing with health and food intake and detoxification so I thought there may well be a number of you who are interested in how the liver works and its role in detoxification. I've also included something on digestion.

There is a lot of material to go through and some very interesting video clips but even if you just take a cursory look you'll learn a little more about your body and perhaps be motivated to take care of it.

There are some excellent blogs dealing with nutrition and you should find these very helpful.

The fun clip will bring back forgotten memories for many of you, even the young or should I say, especially the young and I think you'll enjoy it.

In addition there's the usual range of computer art which I am just beginning to learn with the use of Paint.NET and these are my first primitive attempts, one not even finished, I was so delighted with what I discovered I just wanted to share it as is.

The usual brain puzzler is there, and this time it is a little easier.

I spent a lot of time preparing this post yesterday but the cyber thief uplifted it and it was gone forever, which made me very angry indeed as I had put so much effort into putting it together.

A little later than normal today KTZ...

and not with my tea, but a gin and T instead... my second actually, maybe one too many and certainly not good for the old liver at all... but it's been so hot here in Brissy and surrounds today, I've melted to the floor and can't get up... maybe it was the second G & T who knows... it'll make the art different today, for sure! *lool & lol*

Now then you ARE discovering new buttons aren't you?

Sign tune : looks poised and meditative... contemplating life and the universe perhaps...?

I like the Infinity in Pink... makes me feel like I'm floating... whilst learning more, indeed!

The brain puxxler is too hard for me today.. I'll come back... when I'm not so 'troppo' - God it's been sooo hot... horrible. I'm putting the air-con on tomorrow if'n it's going to do that again... I just feel sorry for the electricity, but hubby says two fans (which is what I have going [for the machine as well] uses more...I'm old fashioned like Bryn I guess... ha ha...

... time to lay down I think...

Lilla,

Rest up my love, most things CAN wait. I'm a non drinker so can't help out there much.

I had a brother who was an alcoholic hence my views althought, really, I just never liked the taste and it put me to sleep.

Not the big turn on my husband hoped it would be on our honeymoon at Hayman Island, not such a celeb place as now, but it was still a wonderful honeymoon.

I think they miss out on a lot nowadays.

Back to your problem, do take hubbies advice re the air con. and mine to slow down.

One only gets one turn around in this life, you may as well enjoy it.

Get your creative juices flowing by taking another journey on that train, you're bound to see me now that I know about it.

Lots of love and kisses LOL, bit repetitive that.

Hi katyzzz

This is an interesting article and I will look into the liver links soon. At the moment I am compiling other articles about arthritis on my own domain.

Now to the pictures:

Surprise Find is truly amazing - it somehow reminds me of Peter Pan, like children flying swrilling to the neverland.

Learning more hurt my eyes a little actually - with all the red (I guess I am still not very used to striking colours) but it gives me an idea how the mind kept swriming inside when we think, all the electrons running in our brain, thoughts, reactions, speech, visions....

The brain puzzler suddenly gave me the Picasso feeling. I can't quite catch it but it looked nice.

And the Signature Tune? Gives me the feeling of "Ready to rumble with the pallette" and all the way for art!

Cheerio

Jessicca,

Fantastic response, I'll buy into the arthritis one when it's finished as my main love, at this particular point of time is the human body and its understsnding, unlike Mt.Everest it has no pinnacle, so can never be conquered.

It is the ultimate brain puzzle.

You did really well with the art. Thankyou for your kind comments.

Thanks for your encouragement on the arthritis articles. ^_^

Previously I compiled a lot about Gout and the diets good and bad for gout in my own domain.
(tried to accumulate traffic income from Google Ads)

It is still running you can check it out at:
www.interstraits.biz/gout
www.interstraits.biz/goutdiet
(The domain was donated by my friend in Indonesia and web space by friend in LA to help raise fund for my mom's hospital bills in August)

And thank you for your encouragement on art comment. ^_^
I guess with the frequent dosage of your art stimulates my brain to think and imagine.

I also pictured if I have a play room for my daughter (if ever I have one day) I would have the "Surprise Find" hanged on the wall, with that particular side is painted in pink, and the rest of the walls in white; the window will be decorated with white curtains and a small set of comfortable light brown or sandy cushions and with a regtangular coffee table. Picturing her having occational gatherings with her girly girl friends for tea.

Can you picture that?

Jessicca,

I certainly can, I think it's wonderful to dream. I had two little girls and one boy. I loved to watch them play and allowed them a great deal of creative freedom and lots of friends in the home for them and licence to "borrow" whatever they wanted.

They didn't do much of that sort of play, but they did do some. I loved taking them to ballet and seeing them in concerts.

They were the joy of my life. Time moves along.

Lovely to hear some more from you, katyzzz

It is indeed a great joy to see kids grow.

I have my nephew and niece (my prince and princess) who I occationally see them and it is amazing how much they grow and change whenever you are not in presence; and when you see them again, it is always a joy and surprises.

I also occationally baby-sit my friend's son, who now learns and discovers so many things he can do. He is just over 1 but sometimes his reactions are way matured and calm than any one of us. LOL...

Recently, he just discovered that he can climb in reverse, whenever he faces anything unfamiliar (like a new toy that is moving towards him) he will back away and start reversing, yet facing the unfamiliar object like a tiger ready to pounce on it.

LOL...

Jessicca,

Yes, they are really fascinating to watch and it's amazing how they learn and what goes on in their little heads.

Make the most of the experience, they're only young for such a short period of time, even though it feels like eternity sometimes.

And then, when they're grown you wish you had the time all over again.

It is one of the most pleasurable and rewarding of times.

Well, I believe we can experience that all over again, when we have grandchildren to look upon.

And boy, that would be a whole difference experience. And I can quite guarantee it because I can see how my parents are enjoying seeing their grandchildren grow.

LOL...

Jessicca,

True, if they're not on opposite side of the world as mine are.
