Smorgasbord of Art, Variety and something to talk about in your family
November 22nd 2006 22:24
To-day it's not so much about my art but a series of paintings and sculptures from various artists for you to look at, think about and discuss.
Our famous Pro Hart is featured and a variety of others, normally it's just a matter of clicking and you'll get Artists from a Scottish Gallery, from Russia, some landscapes and I am going to start with a link to paintings based on microscopic art as one of my readers expressed his interest.
I'll expand on this activity as we move along and if any of you have a particular interest I'll try to find art of that nature for you.
I've made it as easy as I can, taking you straight to the images with the links provided.
Do let me know what you feel.

Microscopic image I liked. And Pro Hart. Especially when it is a beach I know.
Have to go back and look at the others again.

Microscopic images are just like tissue cells under the microscope. I like those images most of all you posted here .

Glad I still have your goodwill. Yes, there is no rush to look at the images they're there for you to peruse at your leisure.
Try them on mum and the kids when they're a bit fractious and encourage them to talk, it'll take their minds off their immediate problems and they may even open up and talk about them and you, too.
Mum's [even young ones] have rights. They are not just there as the doormat.
Wish I could join in too, my spirit will be with you.

Admittedly art isn't my thing. Tried it at school but just didn't feel like I "got it". My husband is very arty. My 5 year old daughter is taking after my husband.
My husband showed her some Monet and Van Gogh and she "got it".
So I'm here to expand my mind and learn a little.

Just love that love and stuff. I don't know anything about art either, failed drawing at school, it wasn't examined fortunately, never could compete with my three talented best friends.
I discovered computer art by accident, the best way, I do go to galleries from time to time, guess I do like looking at it.
I invented the brain puzzlers to help with neural connections. I want to encourage more computer literacy for the older person who lacks those skills, my blog is just about doing that in a rather circuitous way.
I also am very much aware of money. The $2 I've earned on Orble I just don't consider as hay.
Thanks for visiting, hope your family connections open up from it.

I will try to make time to visit those sites you recommended.
With the rate of signature paintings you created, very soon you can open your own gallery to display your works. ^_^

I always love landscape art. It gives you that soothing feeling of what nature has offered you and those quiet moments does calm the busy life in the urban jungle.
(Not to say the city lights are horrible - they are magnificient as well)
microscopic images are very interesting. Again it shows how small we are compared to the universe and the Creator that created our complex-functioning body. Each cell also tells the life of what we are living as well... communications, the traffic, the bread-winners, the family, the enemies, the protectors, etc.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
