Computer keyboard skills - learning a little more.

The shift key is used to type capital letters and other upper case letters, e.g. in the top row of typewriter keys. You must hold the shift key at the same time as pressing the other keys.
There are two shift keys, with identical functions, one on each side of the keyboard for use with either the left or right hand fingers, depending on which hand you are using.
The image below is from Wikipedia.
The control key does not write or print anything. It is used much like a shift key, it has a range of uses but at this stage we are just trying to familiarise ourselves with what is on the keyboard.
Once again there is a left and right ctrl key and you should look at your own keyboard to locate these and practice and play a little when it is not a critical time.
We'll increase our skills and knowledge a little more next time.
If you don't need this information yourself you may want to pass it on to someone else who does.
Any comments? Our aim is to eventually travel around the whole of the standard keyboard.

You are a funny one, I like that.
Yes, I've learned the shift and have located them on the keyboard, I wonder about those ctrl keys 'tho, sound a little vague, but a little as she goes.
I was hoping to have the benefit of some experts here, so what do you have to offer, must be relatively easy and very clear for beginners.
It's going to take a while to go right around the board.
Then I think it will be round and round again and again and again, you know how it goes.
