The windows key is next to the Alt key. It is often called the "winkey"
It is used to call up the Windows functions. Just try it when you first set up your computer.
Besides this is the Menu key and it calls up the Windows menu. This is an alternative to having the windows icon handy for use with whichever program you are using. Once again, just try it to see what it does,
The Enter key is used with the typing process and is used to finish an entry or begin a process.
It is also known as the Return key.
The Backspace key moves the cursor one place backwards, deletes the preceding character, and shifts back the text after it by one position. It is an alternative to the delete key in the next section of the computer, covered next time.
It is in the top right hand corner of the keyboard below the function keys.
