Slipping memories
The Gazette
Published: Thursday, July 10
According to a survey, six in 10 Canadian baby boomers have experienced a mild form of memory loss over the past year. Fifty-eight per cent of the survey's respondents, people between 40 and 60 years old, reported symptoms of a disorder called Age Associated Memory Impairment, which is is believed to result from biological and chemical changes in the aging brain as well as a general shrinkage of brain volume. Common examples of memory loss included misplacing keys and items and forgetting people's names.
Have you noticed your memory slipping?
And here are some of the replies they have received.

UUMMM yeah............ So like what was the question again......... Why did I come into this room again.......... To be perfectly frank..... Could you give me the question again................ The 'baby boomers have to remember that they are GETTING OLD!!! The '1946' crowd will turn 62 this year!! Enough said!! The 'boomers' are the frightful perfect example of a group that does not want to accept their going 'past it'!!!

Memory slippage occurs when we fail to take notice of what we are doing in the first place, by doing too many things at one time, or by doing things in a hurry.

I thought it was due to age and, I might add, a tad scared for I have Alzheimer's in my family and being a baby boomer, imbibed in all that went along with being from that generation.... ;-} I am speaking of the music, of course...

It's happening to me, and I do n"t like it at all. I am supposed to start some exercices to improve the memory...I'am not too confident.

And as a point of interest, which is accepted practice with 'proper' responses' round the Web:
The Rules: Keep it clean, and stay on the subject or we might delete your comment.
You see, it is not just ME!
So if this is happening to you it's time you got cracking at working on your brain.
Prevention is usually better than cure, take heed my friends.
