katyzzz blogging career - 6

I've had some good success with individual posts just lately and yet my numbers are declining.
It seems I have a small number of returning readers and the rest come from casual acquaintance with my work.
That does cause me some concern.
Now the brain and the computer art are here to stay but on other things I remain open minded but anything I attempt does attract certain readers but not of the returning kind.
I have always found a steady interest in blogging generally and hints, most of which I have not been successful at following myself and whatever I do things seem to stay much the same.
If content is King, most do not think much of my content.
The financial rewards to me are negligible, in fact laughable and meanwhile I remain a platform for advertisers whether anyone clicks the ads or not, that's not much of a deal for me.
Spreading the word on the brain and encouraging people with the computer art yields so little attention as to be none other than laughable.
However, I do receive some reward as generally whatever I put up I have some interest in myself, so that is rewarding and keeps me up to it and helps with my typing skills, few though they be.
There has always been an interest in people learning more of technology and such posts attract a fair share of attention.
Some of the videos attract a lot of interest, others flounder.
People do like learning about their bodies and how they work but often the preparation of such posts is fairly arduous and time is a factor, I have no interest at all in becoming a fulltime blogger but I do have at least a superficial interest in all the posts I put up. I do not see myself as a charitable institution for bloggers although many times I think I have become that for both bloggers and advertisers.
I would, however, like to increase my readership but that appears to be the impossible dream.
I actually wrote this post, or some facsimile of it yesterday, but at the very last moment there was an internet problem and off it went on its own into cyberspace never to be found again. That is very frustrating, as many of you must know.
Looking back through the archives I notice there is much there of interest for anyone taking a journey down memory lane.
Space articles interest people and there is an eternal fascination with learning how to lose weight although I don't think many turn it into successful practice, food is always attractive as are novel ideas and videos.
Anything about movie stars especially the more controversial ones attracts more than the attention it warrants and their opinions are sought, heaven only knows why, they are no experts.
All bloggers appear to be interested in the environment and by contrast cars, sport and food attract big readership as do the movies.
I seem too often to blog about the wrong things, sadly and in the blogging world of millions, hundreds mean very little.
Well, that's it for now, until next time, I say
farewell but not adieu, well not yet anyway.
