katyzzz blogging career - 3

Every now and then I put up a little gallery of selected art. Sometimes I would name the pieces, sometimes I would just use numbers which would allow my readers and anyone who wished to leave a comment an opportunity to nominate which particular piece they liked best.
By now I am completely entrenched in Paint.NET, often forgetting my initial base of MS Paint followers which is rather sad and I do keep promising to put on some more of those as there are still readers who are interested.
In some ways MS Paint does allow a different approach, often a superior approach depending on just what one is wanting to achieve.
I should remember that, and despite its deficiencies it is a very useful program for the beginner but lacks some of the tools available with Paint.NET.
I still feel challenged to come up with new ideas so what I do does challenge my brain and it should also challenge yours, but life can often be less simple than we would wish.
I notice I used to receive a lot of comments, in between the times I was sent to coventry, abused by some foul people often by those who should know better, and strangely enough many of those have now moved on, if returning for the occasional contribution.
It seems I have often been the brunt of someone's angst but I have always believed in "to thine own self be true"
Now, I receive very few comments which is a shame, as I feel that what I do has immense value for the present and future well being of the group to which I am attached be it that I don't regard that same group as anything to which, by choice, I would belong, but this is a vehicle, considered by me as a useful avenue for 'getting certain messages across' and to that degree I have been moderately successful.
It seems jokes, happenings and movies are the chosen topics, which I regard as the minutiae of life.
Nevertheless I do put on posts and quote directly from others considering that a more honest presentation and a way of acknowledging the work of others, unlike my little propensity for 'pinching' pictures and stuff'' which I do quite regularly, but you may be assured that the computer art I put on each day, is entirely my own creation.
I continue to comment on the posts of others where appropriate but this can be a thankless task as many are prepared to receive and never to give.
Many want to be in the 'in group' no matter how repetitious some of the drivel is.
What I like is a matter of substance, I use repetition as a learning device (for others) but I don't think much of the re-learning of drivel, but many seem to like it and at least the pictures of late have been less offensive, if a little dull, and the 'moving' art is inclined to put my head on the road to epilepsy, when seen 'over and over' again, but I don't know how this affects other people.
But I am diverging from the history of my little blogging career, so I shall return.
I found myself putting up posts on such things as speech development in children ( surely connected with the brain?) but I'm not sure that too many paid too much attention. Parents, perhaps, should.
Embryology and the human brain and teenagers and the brain also were mentioned from time to time.
A good brain in youth, does prepare the adult brain for a useful, long and rewarding life.
The rich and famous received mentions and were used as inspiration for my art works to which I attibuted a substantial price range, much as the wealthy do, ripping of all others by their excesses.
Lately, I've got to thinking that might be a rather cute thing to do.
The colours of star signs, which did not seem to have much of a following kept me entertained for 12 months and although I expected it would appeal to many, it did not, although it did appeal to some.
So much for all those millions out there just hanging around with bated breath waiting to look at and read my posts.
Funnily enough I do often attract a great number ofthose who hit in but do not stop long enough to become readers. If only I could capture them, perhaps I need a lasoo.
Well, it seems this little post is already becoming far too long and so I wish you adieu although I really wish it were simply 'au revoir' for I very much want you to return.
May we meet again with a click or two.
Fare thee well, my merry men, and a few merry girls as well.
I'd really like to get into that little band of merry men who robbed from the rich to give to the poor.
I'd be right out there in front of the 'poor' queue, ready for my due.
