katyzzz Art - sheer beauty and classic simplicity
December 12th 2006 03:05
I was overcome by the first image here.
I hope you find it as exhilarating and uplifting asI do. I think it is exquisitely beautiful and I find it awesome and inspirational.
The others are more classical in their simplicity but they have their own particular beauty and effects.
May you derive as much pleasure in viewing them as I derived by discovering them.
Computer art is for me a journey into the unknown and unexpected. I barely get to appreciate fully the end result when it reveals itself.
You have escaped the burden but missed some of the joy and much of the mind exercise.
That does not make its viewing any less meaningful.
I wonder which one you'll choose as your favourite.

I like the signature tune. Again, like another I have seen, it takes on a 3D image.
"Reflections" and "A Certain Symmetry" are great. They look like photographs. Very nice.
Love & stuff

Lovely to have your perceptions, expressed in such a complementary manner, yes I meant the "e".

By practice, initial design, experimentation and visual assessment, perseverance and loving anything to do with computer technology that releases one from the burden of manual only pursuits.
Just start, play, experiment and be amazed.

It varies and is a matter of inspiration and preparation from the mind.
The skill is in producing, not in how long it takes.
I have never timed myself.
It is very much a neural function, but is not instant.
It can take a long time to colour such things as the brain puzzler.
Try it yourself. I am self taught. All it needs is the use of MS Paint then moving on to Paint.NET
Both are downloadable for free if you don't have them already.
katyzzz.......My aim is to challenge your mind, You seem a little removed from that challenge.
The idea is to engage your mind, not put the watch on me. When I first started it took a long time to do anything, now I have, it appears to me, unique abilities in manipulating the tools.
You really do need to answer the questions yourself. You will gain much more from doing that.
They certainly don't take 500 hours, nor would I be putting them on here if they did.
As it is this is not a viable financial exercise.

I'm happy to be challenged especially with something so creative but I was just amazed at all the ones you've done, they are incredible. I've just finished uni and I think this might be my next enjoyable quest.

Yes, Katyzzz, I say that becuase try as I might I cannot seem to add more than 1 karmic digit to everyone's score boards this morning... I don't know what the changes were/are, but if my Karma of 10 cannot offer my friends more than 1 point, then we are all doomed... I'm finding too that if you leave a comment and then vote as well, afterwards, it is still taking the extra [karma] value points to that person's score... screwy... I think the techy dept. must be gliching as it sorts it's way through things...(?)
KTZ,
I love todays exhibition in black and white... it's the meaning of the mental you know...
I know I've seen your face before,
I know it was you...
who passed the note under the door...
I don't know if it's wrong or right, but
the meaning of the mental,
is black and white...
A song a friend of mine wrote many, many moons ago now *lol*
I did enjoy the sig and as someone else commented it went 3-D on me too...
*sipping my Natures Cuppa*
*scoffing a nice sugar free biuscuit*
*contemplating a phone call I have to make*
*scolling up* [short term memory loss you know]
*scolling down again*
what an exqusite surprise to see this starting to emerge from the page... slowly... like evolution...senti4ent for the first time aware of itself... timid, yet strong... advancing...not yet fully sure of all the colourful glory it can become in time...
*scrolling up*
*answering mobile phone*
*scolling down*
*sipping Cuppa*
reflecting, like a ripple in a pond on the ashpalt... whilst observing the symmetry of imagination... another jewel in the crown...
*signing off with a hug*
Lilla...

Every post you flutter by you will increase, my butter fly,
Your Karma, will add the first time you alight, after then it is zilch as you flutter again.
When I come to see you, my Karma will flop, the usual 10 points and that's really a lot.
Our answers will to ourselves give our karma, so it's I post, it's 10, you flutter it's 10 I reply it's 10 and so we've now started.
After that we must sit by to snare new readers to stop, we pick up their karma but from then on, no more, as we answer and dance to the tune of the caller, no more of any more points will it earn ya.
Got it???
