Japan's belly button festival

Jul 29 - Residents of the Japanese city of Shibukawa took to the streets with their stomachs painted in bright colours.

The belly button festival brings young and old together for plenty of navel gazing.

While the festival is not an ancient one, it is based on a traditional party performance that required people to paint a face on their stomach and pretend it was a head.

The belly button is traditionally - but not always - painted in to a mouth.

Sorry, mine does not seem to qualify, but boy, talk about a new pick up line, shame on you, Raven, but shop around, sooner or later you're bound to get an offer, although I hesitate to think how you'd react to it, I guess you've got those roller skates close by.
