I think the way the media has been describing SJP is cruel, there is no need to call her 'horse face'. Calling her unattractive must be hard enough to hear, let alone that description.

Yes, it is, but she's paid heaps and must be able to take it, I don't mind if they call me ugly if they pay me that much.

She's just got married so she is probably laughing all the way to the bank. She's obviously got her act together far better than Britney, and the old adage is "Beauty is only skin deep" and "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" Hollywood is mad, anyway. Don't let it disturb you too much, she's just not got a conventional beauty, that's all.

I'm sure you're beautiful Tracy, just like me.

I would care a bit. I think, as Tracy says, the media has been overly cruel of late, particularly in light of Maxim's 'Unsexiest Woman Alive' poll - where I don't think SJP deserved to get #1 over Winehouse, Spears, etc.

In terms of sexiness, I don't think SJP really has it, and she's not attractive by traditional standards, but I don't think she's ugly. She makes the most of her features, after shunning plastic surgery, and as I say when she's in her 'fashion-plate state' and has her hair and makeup natural and not too severe, she often looks quite nice.

The only work of hers I really believe in is her role as Carrie Bradshaw, but she's smart and savvy, she's a talented woman in general and has her act together. She does her job and works with her charities and doesn't get overly involved in the social set.

katyzzz, SJP has been married for over ten years to Matthew Broderick - do you mean her screen wedding as Carrie Bradshaw? If so, you're right - that movie has reportedly made her about $7 million, from memory.

What lovely and interesting and concerned things people have said, and such vitriol from the press is not necessary. I guess she's earning about as much as I do here. At least I'm not in the public eye

I just love to have visitors just don't have enough time to spend with you all.

Too much money really, takes me all my time to spend it. (At the beauty parlour and the plastic surgeon)

I suppose you all have as much trouble as I do knowing what to do with your money and I can't even get myself a husband. Not one that I'd want anyway. Too fussy, not a good way to be.

Charm is a good way of putting it and the comparisons with Britney are so apt, she has beautiful hair and a lot of other nice features so I could not help but agree with the last three comments, thanks for giving your views.

Yes, she doesn't have conventional beauty but I see nothing wrong with that. Money or no money she still has feelings and is a great actor (when is the film coming out?!!)
