Human respiration video and Computer Art

November 23rd 2006 05:39
Computer Art MS paint
Signature Tune

Today, it's back to the computer art and the usual brain puzzler.

The first two images are identical except for a colour change. Which appeals most to you and why?

The brain puzzler is unique and it's up to your brain, your mind and your perception what you see there and experience from it, the more you look the more you'll see, come back to it in a few days and you should see some different things and for some, like a lightning bolt, you'll get a flash of what you've not experienced before.

More on breathing and remember it's all about oxygen being made available to tissues and cells and getting that, via the bloodstream, into the brain.

It's a youTube and there's some questions answered if you just scroll down a little.

There's a lot more to know about breathing and using the muscles of respiration and I'll direct you to that another day.

I wish I'd seen that respiration clip when I studied first-year Bio!!

PS I like the first picture better, not sure why, possibly because there's a larger percentage of purple (one of my fave colours )

The second one is almost urgent, like it's yelling at me. Interesting to look at, but I couldn't have it in my house. The brain puzzler makes me think of lines of people going to work.

Third one i am feeling like looking through prism. Reflected shapes and vectors (Bran P.).

And the YouTube Kat looking at that video wondering if somehow i videoed within me it will be all black spots in lungs. .

Sisi,

Glad you liked it. Glad you liked the respiration, it puts it together for you , doesn't it? there's plenty more to come.

Yes, I think the second one would be far to screeching to appeal to most but it's interesting to see what different colours achieve.

Thanks for your visit.

Adele,

The second one would not go too well in anyone's house I think.

You always pick up something interesting from the puzzler.

Kams,

That's exactly right, black spots, but, if you give up the smoking your lungs can improve over a period of time, and with a good diet including fresh fruit and vegetables you should be looking at a much healthier future and with the effects of ageing, ultimately slowed.

Love to hear about prisms and reflections [in the many meanings of that word].

I think we often see the difference between the male and female brain in this way.

The first one made better impression on me . I guess , the second one have too strong colors. And about human respiration I know pretty much , but in this clip everything is well explained , so laymen could understand too.

Hi Katyzzz,

Hmm let me see:

sig tune : Who left the washing out at night in the full moon?

Cube comparisons : both reminded me of ground Zero construction site... the first just before a storm the second just after the sun has come out again... it is a sultry day for the workmen, no matter... about 40 degrees I think...

And the puzzler : as always a reminder of my pathway around orble, but today I have encountered an anomolous dividing line between thought and action... ther is light and darkness... a seperating of dimentions...something is working it's way through puzzler land... changing it for the better...

nice to breathe... reminds me of a poem I wrote recently somewhere else... about simplicity...

There is simplicity,
.. in every complexity ...

those created by nature
...just breathe and look..
you will see ...

there on the edge of your vision
relax, it resides in a deep breathe...
give yourself a minute...
....there....
... between the ...in...
...breath...
and the ...out ...
....breath...

..concealed between worlds...
shimmering, it awaits you...
just slip into the lightness...
there, inbetween...
let all else go,
for just a moment...
... all else ....
...vanishing...

breathe it in deeply,
now, what was it,
you had to do...?

Thanks for reminding me to take a moment...
I'm trying Rooibos Tea today, no caffiene, not bad!
Lilla...

Lilla,

That was so funny about the washing. You found me out.

The poem was beautiful and so apt for the respiratory system.

I love everything you do, but do get perturbed if I sense unhappiness, which is, of course, a natural part of life

'til we meet again', just like the witches of Eastwick,

I think I like the first one. The red of the second one is a bit jarring on my eyes (though that's possibly a sign I sit too close to my monitor!).

great art works as usual.

Thank you, Kylie

Yes, I think everyone has the same reaction to the second one, it's amazing what a change in coloue, alone, can do!
