How your lungs work and Computer Art

Computer art How Lungs work
Signature tune

Following on from the Brain and Heart, from the Blood and what it is, I think it's time we looked at the lungs. It is the lungs which aerate the deoxygenated blood that is pumped into it from the heart.

I've given the usual links but a few more this time and you'll see images of the lungs moving as we breathe in and out and if you click on images and foilow through with other links you'll see the red blood cells entering the blood stream, carrying the oxygen which is important for all tissues and organs and especially for the brain.

The lungs and how they work

The lungs and how they work

DON'T FORGET TO USE THE CROSS LINKS, I'VE MADE IT AS EASY AS POSSIBLE FOR YOU

There's no youTube, but in the heart surgery one you'll notice that on the right [the patient's left] you'll see the left lung moving up and down slowly [as lungs do in comparison with the heart].

Enjoy the art, I've featured the fuscia, teale, aubergine and cobalt for DuskDevi with a little embellishment here and there.

Stanley,

There's quite a lot of art for sale based on a microscopic view, sections are often stained which gives the colour varieties and some dyes they use are fluorescent.

You'll probably find some on the web, I may even look myself and post a link.

Thanks for your comment, it's always good to have that first one.

Signature tune is lovely ... very constellationy (if there's such a word - I should ask Homer). I'm currently using it as my computer wallpaper ...

Adrienne,

Some bodies more interesting than others, I think I'll stick to just admiring the real thing, although I'm really mostly interested in the mind and connections.

Sig tune is what happens when some rotton kid empties out the fairy dust in the books at my store - the black symbolises my mood, on accound of having to vaccume it.

Brenton,

Nice to see you.

Thanks for your comments, you have a vivid imagination and seem to be your own psychotherapist.

Glad to see it working so well for you. I love a sense of humour.

Thanks...........katyzzz

Love the signature tune. To me that looks like a lot of fun. I can imagine my kids getting a kick out of splatting paint on a big canvas and sqealing with delight.

That will get the lungs going.

Jackson Pollock got nothin' on you.

Didn't know about so many stuff on body
Thanks Kat, love the Signature Tune.

On the second thought, if possible Kat upload JPG or PNG, as BMP seems blur.
