Flying is good for you!

Go fly your kite
Signature Tune

Just look at this video and these magnificent flying machines. People are in the wide open spaces and enjoying themselves and just look at that oldie too.

I thought with a weekend coming up you may just like to do it too.

And remember the next time someone tells you to 'go fly a kite' just think to yourself 'I may just do that'.

Fun is good for you!

Go fly your kite

Have fun and let me know just how you felt watching those spectacular kites.

My brothers used to make their own, very simple with sticks from trees and bits of brown paper, in those days plastic was unheard of. Makes you think, doesn't it?

Hi Katyzzz
my cousins made kites last weekend apparently... I saw the remnants of them the other day.... don`t quite know if they flew or not... we have a kite festival up here on the beach at the end of the year....beautiful at night they have floating lanterns and fire twirlers

Yes,

They have one here in Sydney too, usually on Bondi Beach, but the kites on the video were especially good.

If your cousins' kites didn't fly perhaps next time they'll be more successful.

I remember my son having one, purchased at a shop, the novelty soon wears off, but for some they have that very special interest.

You're in a lovely spot. I have heard of it before.

I had a photo published of this area a few months ago in an Aussie Travel Mag... it is really one of the nicest places .... LOL when we were there last year we went wading across the little lagoon that led from the sea inland... and we didn`t realise how deep it was... landed up WAIST DEEP in sea water... for the rest of the night... hahaha it was great!

Lucky you didn't end up in Sydney.

It seems you put yourself in at the deep end, jumped right in, very Scorpio of you.

katyzzz....I can feel that water all around, trust you can swim. Congrats on the photo.

Our Ash, the travel photographer? [along with other things, of course ]
