3 days - 17 sessions to go.

Lumosity
Signature Tune

Well, it must be apparent to all of us that I am not going to finish all the sessions available to me in the free trial. I have done up to 4 sessions a day to try to catch up, but that is too much of a strain, and I do have other things to do.

The games do create a certain tension, I am described as spectacular but then I have to maintain that position.

This Lumosity trial has been a wonderful experience and I shall certainly make arrangements to continue with it once my free couple of weeks trial of Lumosity is over.

Already I am feeling more alert.

Lumosity gives heaps of encouragement, progressive record of scores and it is quite amazing how one can get a 'miraculous' score at one point and then fall far short of the record set on other occasions.

But in my Lumosity session this morning I set two more records for myself, but fell far short of that one wonderful result with one particular game. I can't help wondering how one can reach that optimum the repetition of which seems illusory.

However, every thing is going well and there is no fear of boredom, it is too challenging pursuing the unattainable 100% in every section.

Bear in mind I do no practice in between which practice would make things easier. But my aim is to test the program as much as I can before the free trial expires and this really is a free trial, absolutely no strings attached which is wonderful.

Lumosity is the only brain game offering this and I'd be reluctant to buy the others and the equipment that goes with them, sight unseen, so to speak.

Lumosity is by subscription and quite a modest sum, proportionately speaking.

Just a couple of bits of information I learned along the way with to-day's session.

Brain cells and the connections between them are continually changing to encode information in a process known as neuroplasticity.

and

Processing Speed

There are several biological factors that may influence processing speed, including the health of neurons and the integrity of the connections between them

I had fun and improved my mental acuity at the same time. What seems easy can be rather more difficult than one imagines, namely to get that illusive 100% while at the same time not losing any concentration.

It makes one really bring one's brain back into focus

Why don't you trial it. There's nothing to be afraid of, it's not going to call you a moron if you get something wrong and You WILL improve.

I think I'd like to try this, sounds good, and it would be good to give one's brain a kick start every morning, don't you think, silly question, it's obvious that's just what you do think.
