Foods to boost your memory!
July 4th 2007 08:05
Just a quick reminder and a somewhat different view. But this is just about boosting your memory not an overall plan for the brain. [although for brain health it looks good if rather brief]
It comes from Emma Reilly, on the link
"By eating the right food, you can boost your IQ, improve your mood, tune up your memory and keep your mind young."
Eat essential fats - ensure your diet is rich in omega-3 fats found in oily fish.
Include plenty of protein-rich foods in your diet. Try to eat a protein-based lunch to be alert throughout the day.
* Drink 1.5 to 2 litres of water a day to keep your brain well hydrated.
* Exercise regularly and eat several small meals throughout the day.
* Take a B vitamin supplement. Mood and mental performance are powerfully influenced by the B vitamins.
* Sugar can give your brain a boost, but watch out for empty calories.
* Carbohydrates, especially when eaten with no protein or fat, may be mentally soothing.

well, huh..., I'm suffering from a dehydrated brain syndrome eh? I thought it was something serious. Interesting point, wonder if that can partially explain headaches?

See a doctor?
Get any exercise?
Start doing my brain puzzlers.
Don't sit at that desk for too long at a time.
Move around on your chair, relax your body while on the computer.
Wriggle your legs, regularly, while you sit.
See a doctor?
Lots of love, stay tuned, katyzzz?
Eat breakfast?
