Brain or cognitive functions are the skills that enable us to do everyday tasks. They are:

* Memory
* Language
* Concentration
* Executive Functions (logic, reasoning)
* Visual and Spatial Skills

An important factor in a brain fitness program is a balanced approached. For optimal health, all 5 areas of brain function need exercise. In addition, these exercise activities need to provide:

* Diversity: The brain is looking for new and unique activities to provide continued stimulation.
* Complexity: Moving from one level of complexity to the next keeps the brain challenged and interested.
* Variety: To gain full benefit, it is important to engage in a full and varied work-out.

The human brain starts slowing down as early as age 25. Fortunately, you can keep it running at peak performance and even make improvements at any age. Just like your body, you can "use it or lose it". Scientists all over the world are starting to agree that stimulating the brain can improve brain power. Numerous studies show that activities such as interactive games can help maintain key cognitive functions.

Go to the link at top to play the games, you will need to click to get to the brain games, lumosity gets a good plug for its free trial and all you need for brain fit is your email address, it's free NOW, but may be charged for in the future.

Variety is the key so here is an opportunity for you.

oh sucks. I have to practise more of those brain games.

I already start to realise I have vocal impair for certain languages and I start to speak slower.

This sucks.

However, love your signature tune. Ever thought of making it into a skirt design?

Jessicca, there are a lot of physical conditions which can cause difficulties with the mental activity, perhaps a good medical check up would not go astray, it may be something as simple as diabetes, thyroid problems, hormone instability, stress etc, of course those conditions are not simple but once identified and treated can make a world of difference.

Then again it my be just your situation at present, e.g. overwork, loss of sleep, etc.

Do persevere and find the right doctor.

You should not need any sort of vitamin supplement if your diet is OK so it may be wise to check.

Let me know if this has been of any help.
