Family Program: Watercolour painting
March 4th 2007 07:07
This is a small article that should appeal to Families and also to those who think art is just something one does with a paintbrush.
It is also useful to refute the idea that one has to be talented or gifted in some way to attempt to do something.
Everyone has to learn somewhere and the family is the ideal place to learn things together.
It is not necessary to show any sort of promise in order to take an interest.
All artistic endeavour is for everyone to appreciate and feel free to do.
The Family is a very special environment. Don't you agree?
Family Program: Watercolor Painting Plus
You might wonder why artist Gail Schultz has a roll of wax paper, masking tape, a hair dryer and toothbrushes on the table in the Family Discovery Gallery. Try watercolor painting using the familiar pan of colors and a brush, but then use some of the items mentioned above to create unusual and fun effects.
