I use MS paint but recently I have progressed to Paint.NET, I use the 'tools" provided by the computer to produce my art which is done from an original basis, i.e. everything is chosen and manipulated by me. There are some extra features in Paint.NET which I am enjoying, which allows me to produce things I could never do on my own, but using my original work to do so.
It is always an experimental process and some attempts are more successful than others.
That is a summary, but I suggest if you have access to those programs which can be downloaded for free, you have a go yourself. It takes a certain paitence followed by persistence.
Don't be disappointed with initial attempts.
MS Paint is available as an accessory with all MS programs for PCs and you'll find I have provided links on previous posts with respect to using MS Paint, but there is no greater instructor than having a go!
