"An engineer may design new video games, future cars, create computers which operate by voice and mental commands, design circuits that control planes,...

Such is the concern of educationists about the drop out rate of engineering students in colleges that they are introducing engineering concepts, principles and real-world problems in high school.

The program offers students the chance to find out if engineering is the career for them before they get to college".

It is apparent that we are going to see a lot more of these types of solutions in the future.

Hi katyzzz

When I was in the UK last year my friends mum said I should go into Engineering, it would be a fascinating job I reckon... I lived with an Engineer once... very interesting people. This is an excellent plan me thinks...

Ash,

I was married to an Engineer, I guess things change so rapidly, it's a great idea for schools 'tho.

I don't think I have the aptitude for engineering but I am starting to take more of an interest in how things work.

I've always had too many men to rely on with these things, but now I need to do a few things for myself, but it's tough.

A lot of men still can't do things, you must have shown some aptitude.

I really want to learn a lot more about computers 'tho, they are involved in every occupation currently.

Good to have your views.
