I've studied a bit and I'm facinated with this. In the second painting, you've got Ammut waiting to devour a human heart after it is weighed and judged. She's the demoness of punishment, with a croc head, leopard body and hippo rump.

These paintings have very vivid colors and lines. It seems Egyptian artists are very detail-oriented yet the paintings are not exactly presented realistically.
