Dramatically Different Diversions

February 18th 2007 04:21
Dramatically Different Diversions
Signature Tune

After jazzing up the Opera House I thought I'd better take it quietly and go back to the serious business of earning some cents, sooner or later, of course.

At the moment it is looking like later as to-day I've earned 7 cents, but mostly it's nothing at all.

Some of these are bound to be worth money, sometime, perhaps or maybe not.

Nevertheless they are all artistically valuable or to appease those that don't think so, I'll substitute of great literary value [be it only for the cover]

There are some here that make me salivate they are just so sumptuous and succulent, even if the jewels are indigestible.

I like the Sepia Setting best = I think it is the gentle incorporation of colours here amongst the swirls of sepia....it reminds me of the sand art we used to do at school.

The Opera House looks great btw....just need some lumo lights to set it on fire in the night sky now

Oh, brightspark, and how do I do that?

I think I'd better lie low for a while, don't really want to get caught.

I knew the Sepia would get someone in, but I didn't think it would be you!

Trust a mum to get it wrong.

How did photography of the air go to-day?

I saw a busker yesterday with her violin, I thought of you, it really does bring the practice on.

Must take my piano, and believe it or not I've seen that, too, some 13 year old with her devoted parents, ready for the big time, hope they found it.

Acting is the way to go. It pays better, charge up the drinking and partying and save your fare for Hollywood, you never know where it all may lead.

What did you think of my suggestion for some money from advertising companies? It's all right for others to suggest things, isn't it?, armchair logic. I thought it may just pay a little better than other things, incidentally, casual teaching, [glorified babysitting] might be more tolerable, just until your fame is established.

katyzzz......hope everyone else is interested in this comment.

hehehehe not sure make friends with a lightbulb maker...maybe he can shed some light on the problem *snort, giggle*

I love sepia....I convert many of my pictures to sepia actually, must be my love of history coming through there....sepia photos...and maps????OH MY....love them!!!

I was out snapping away early this morning...found some very interesting leaves in the yard...will have to get them online at some stage...but I spent the day at the Horse Races actually. Although I`m not a gambler I thought I would tag along out of interest, little bit of social activity with some new faces...not quite Ascot but something different for a crazy Sunday afternoon....

Did she sound like a cat being strangled??yes that would remind you of me for sure

hehehehe I used to love being on the stage....every school play I was there, until one night my pants fell down...on stage!!! blushing just thinking about that! Afterwards I stuck to the Lighting Team and actually enjoyed that even more...

I have thought of Ad companies actually...although I do not really have the personality to sell things...I would prefer to be the imagination and someone else do the talking...that would suit me. I think I am over teaching now, enjoyed it while I did it but would not go back to it any time soon.....

they will come along soon enough I am sure.... they always seem to

I think perhaps you're a lot like my son, in many, if not all ways. He knows electronics, and you don't seem to, lightbulbs, indeed.

He soon got himself behind the cameras, but he can be a right in your face kinda guy when it suits him. He just loved to be in the limelight.

You don't have to sell to work for ad agencies, just write and photograph, or maybe just one of those.

I'm sticking to my piano busking, they'll probably pay me to move on.

The gee gees, eh?, there's money there.

Must do some art for the walls of racehorse owners.

You do get around. I can't see that you are in any way shy.

I've prepared another treat for everyone, but I'm not too sure how many will take a bight. Does wonders for the stats, though, for what they're worth.

Perspectives in all things is what we need.

Have a good sleep before reality sets in with a bang to-morrow.

well my brother and I would have some similar genes wouldn`t we? do you think you may introduce us any time soon? I already have a sibling I have never met....3 more now? No wonder I need a change in perspective *lol*

busking with the piano may be a little too much hassle than its worth if you are only going to get paid to move along. Sorry but I dont think my little car can fit a piano in and i sure as eggs ain`t traipsing around Darling Harbour lugging a piano about the place.

I do get around....in a non-prostitute sort of way....because I cannot stand to sit still...I guess it comes from years of travelling....my nomadic ways are hard to shed...but I am quite the shy one....that comes from years of 'being seen and not heard'....

stats???hmmm I should check mine...I shall be back..nah not changed much hey! I need to figure out how to put it on my 'Flashes' website, although I don`t use my domain blog anymore...I may travel again soon so maybe it will be up and running again...

ah I have a few more hours reading ahead of me....have a very 'non-thinking book' i'm involved in at the moment - 'My Sisters Keeper" - have you read it? She writes very well. I`m also reading 'The White Phantom' which is about King Arthur....quite good, not got too far into it yet....

Wendi,

Thanks, it's amazing how many like a sepia touch, for me it's hard to say, having prepared them.

Good to have your views.

Ash,

Not off again? What about the course, I told you you'd leave your poor old mum. Piano busking is going great. Pays better than Orble and my piano is improving.

My son, he's too far away and too unpredictable, too married, or has been and too incommunicado.

You're sure to like him all the girls do and always have, but underneath it all he's deep. I just wish he'd let me love him. He was ready for girls and to leave home at 1 year old. Some kid. But he was a beautiful if difficult baby. I shall love him until the day I die.

Hi katyzzz

The course starts next week, furiously trying to read the ever growing list of books...which is not happening actually! If I knew the address of the person who had the books out from the library I would personally go around to their house in the middle of the night and steal them...

That`s the great thing about Orble you see ....you can take it with you anywhere you go, so I`m not really 'leaving'.... will still be around to roll the piano through the crowds...

Maybe one day when he has his own kids he will learn learn about mums and how important they are...parents never really do stop loving do they? even if sometimes they don`t show it....not that you haven`t I`m sure...just a general statement that one was....

Hey Katy, I liked the opulent orb and the texture of the background, but why is it obligatory? -- because this is Orble?

Something like that Adrian, but mostly because that was another O.

Not much rhyme nor reason in what I do.

I'm just having fun and endeavouring to take others along for the ride.

My higher aspirations on Orble have gone on hold.

Expect my life to take off in other directions, very soon, this is a final fling before just simply being able to Orble when I can.

In fact that has started already.

But in between there's no harm in trying to push the stats up.

I'm having a bit of trouble with your other posts, I see you and then I see Cib, so just who am I corresponding with?

katyzzz...thanks for your views, we are on the same wave length on quite a lot of things.

I think I have played Diamond Mine, and I appreciate your comments about keeping me happy.

I'd like to see a few others loosen up but I don't want my comments to be taken too seriously.

Thanks for your visit.

Ash,

I have told my son I love him, I don't think he cares too much, I'd actually like my children to be angry with me and tell me, it's better than silence.

Somehow, I don't think he'll have children, he's leaving it a bit late if he does want them.

But all my kids are great with kids, so some things in life are a little sad, really.

katyzzz...I understand about the Library Books and you are going to find it is an increasing problem, sorry to be such a wet blanket......it's very annoying, I know.
