ooooooh love these....love the colours... and the blurs...like in one of those fluffy, snuggling dreams that make you never want to wake up...

Wendi,

Yes, you know those little triangles, the simplest of instruments, that you 'play' with a straight piece of brass, they often do it in kindergarten, but there are no age restrictions.

katyzzz....sorry I confused you, the danger of words, you thought 'them' referred to my pics.

Ash,

Those dreams seem wonderful, I am not so priviledged, but I always want to wake up. Glad you liked them.

katyzzz

Good to see you both.

Black diamond setting is just magic. And surprising effect. No surprise I like the twisted ones!

K

It is magical, isn't it? And I love your sense of humour, it gave me a good laugh!

Wendi,

What an awful experience for you, an unfeeling teacher with little or no imagination.

I remember when one of my daughters came home and announced she was no longer in the school choir as the teacher said she sang too loud.

I didn't believe in making a fuss, thinking she must have been singing out of key or something.

It wasn't until she was about 14 and we were at our music teacher's house, that I would learn differently, we were in with another child and I said to the teacher, what a wonderful voice, who is that singing?. He said that's M...., I stood in disbelief. Yes, he said J... [his daughte] has a wonderful gift in bringing out the best in people and encouraging them to sing. I was so shocked to learn it was my child. I didn't think anyone could have persuaded her to sing, let alone so well, all that talent that remained hidden all those years.

He said, musical ability just flows from M...., all those other music teachers we had had who hadn't picked it up.

She has plenty of other talents, but if only one knew which were their forte's a little earlier.

Then I suppose one would be accused of being pushy, I hope there is an after life, God may give us all a little tuition and a rerun on getting it right.

I always said I sent my children to school mostly for the social interaction [not to be discounted] especially in the Primary years.

It sometimes bothers me how much talent goes unrecognised in the world, if only people could tune into it they'd be a lot happier even if they just develop it as a hobby.
