Do you understand such things as a thread, RSS etc?
Do you think people explain these things well enough so that YOU can understand what you're doing.
Understanding is one thing, knowing what to do and the effects of it is something else again and remembering what they all mean is yet another thing. What concerns you?
What would you like answers to?
Let's hope there are people here who will respond and endeavour to make a useful explanation for others.
By doing some of the things, what have we to gain and what to lose?
There should be a lot of scope here for some vigorous discussions, those who feel they are ignorant should not be concerned about it, just that they need to know.
