Pillow Talk - the Squabble !
July 20th 2007 07:05
Black silhouettes and gleam of eyes,
Lovers in bed do not compromise.
The passion gives way to expressions of fire,
And temperaments flare as their bodies collide.
Bodies turning and pushing,
Words easily shout,
As the growl of two dissidents
Is thinly disguised.
They lie close together,
But no less than apart,
As the tensions and grievances
Seek to flow out.
The pillow's no comfort to these stormy lovers,
But exhaustion and sleep will work most of it out.
Look for the movement of bodies and faces and mouths growling yet kissing and the turning away and then back together. Just give yourself time and space.
May I have your opinions and thoughts on this, please?

Lovely to see you, yes the poem's my own.
I had a good laugh over your second comment, the Greek urn appealed to me.
I knew this one would be hard for people so you've done well.
Ta muchly,
