katyzzz blogging career - 5

Signature Tune

It is always a point of fascination to me how some of my 'old' posts still attract a certain readership, two that come to mind and appear regularly in my stats are about the 'stoning of women in Afghanistan' indicative, surely of a social conscience among many and the other by sheer contrast on 'how your nose works'

Now I have put many posts up on how your body systems work but it appears that the nose is what attracts the most attention.

Another thing that attracts people is one of my own 'works of art' which carries the word 'love' or some derivative, people flock to those more than any other sort of computer art composition.

Yet another thing I've notice is that people do not like to expose themselves to the 'brain challenges' some of my art works (?) bring, whether in the public arena or behind closed doors, I suspect they fear facing up to their own brain deficiencies even though we all have them in one form or another, even the so called brightest of us.

It never ceases to amaze and delight me when people give me their views, their perception is often superior to my own, if blogging paid better ( correction, 'paid' at all, I think I may well engage them to direct my work and establish my 'art' career, one which, incidentally, I am not seeking.

My interest here is mostly to do with the brain, which by now I would hope you would have all realized.

My readership tends to be of the new visitors kind, rather than the return of the addicted.

This is one addiction I would encourage, but I don't seem to have much luck with that one.

Speaking of addictions, mentioning 'pot' and establishing anything that appears to condone it always brings the fleet in, as do other drug discussions, mental illness and possible excuses for the many other addictions to which so many fall victim.

Most are in denial of the harmful effects on the brain, but what can I do about that except continue to post.

I don't think there are too many all that interested in my computer art, with the exception of the 'love' ones.

It must be especially frustrating for some, interested in mspaint to arrive here and find I am using Paint.NET. However, I do put up special images for them from time to time so they do not feel forgotten.

The most important thing about what I do is that it is novel and novel things are good for your brain as was illustrated in one of my very recent posts.

I still get interest in various 'established' artists with the like of Dali and such things as Muslim art still attracting a fair share of viewers.

Music tastes vary and I am rather disappointed at the lack of response to the classical series, which are exceptional.

I do tend to agree that the population is "dumbing" down. That is sad as we do need to be thinkers and the state of the world definitely is very challenging, I don't for one moment think our esteemed leaders have got that one right.

Hopefully, more and more of you are thinking of these brain issues and derive some stimulation at looking at my ever varying art attempts, even if you hate them that is still a response and may well trigger your brain into some new thought pathways.

I guess, at this stage, I have very little else to say, but next time I'll go back into the archives and see what they produce.

Until then, come over and see me sometimes, the more often, the better, have fun with your brain, and look after your health, the rewards far outway those achieved by the usual avenues of excess in eating and drinking and drugging, and the deficiencies in sleep, while you continue to drown yourselves in the movies and give far more credit to your favourite movie stars and their opinions than they ever could deserve.

A little is good, a lot is a poison.

Until next time, have fun blogging.

Hi Katyzzz,

The Missing.In.Action Jessicca is finally back lurking in Orble land, visiting you. ^_^

Your signature tunes always amazes me! Christmas-y!!! ^_^

I have been pretty tied up with work and also... addicted to digital compilations for gamers of an adorable game! LOL... It is just too adorable!!!

Go visit and you will know where the addition has shifted *ahem*
Really Long Link

I must say that I need to beef up myself and start back on Health2know.... Hm... let's start with recipes! Yay!

(Jessicca sounds rather chirpy eh?)

End of the day, good work with the signature tune... I like this one better than the previous one [5 things that alcohol can do to the teenage brain].. a little too striking and my eyes hurt and my brain felt like it's been slapped... *_*

Have a blessed day!

Jessicca how lovely to see you, you do sound chirpy and I've missed you, I left a message on health 2 know as soon as I heard you were hanging around these hallowed halls again.

You also gave me a good laugh, what a lovely friend you are. I'll keep my computer eyes open for you.

Gee Katyzzz,

Thats the most I've ever heard you speak ... and well too. very enjoyable, you should do it more.

I do tend to agree that the population is "dumbing" down. That is sad as we do need to be thinkers and the state of the world definitely is very challenging, I don't for one moment think our esteemed leaders have got that one right.

Now you know how deep[ly this one affects me and can make my fist rise into the air... it is more than sad, it is crazy that another Americanism (such as illiteracy) has become the world fad... I cannot get my head around this glaring monstrosity at all, except to console myself late at night with the calm thoughts that all fads pass in time.

Curious about the nose, but as they say; the nose knows.*lol*

going to sniff out a new way of thinking in the esoteric bookshop ...

Lilla ...
