A new approach and a comparator

November 5th 2006 09:00
The first two are new styles and a colour variation.

The third is the usual puzzler, but it is actually the last puzzler with the colours changed. I'll put both in for you to make a comparison and for you to tell me what you think.

Computer Art with differences
A new approach and colour scheme

New design type, new colours

Now you see it

Now you don't

Well, did the colour change affect your perception of the puzzler?

What do you think? And how did you like the others?

I don't really understand.
What don't I see in last picture that i would normally see in the 3rd? They're just different colours aren't they?

Luke,

True, but with different colours some things are easier to see and if you keep looking you'll often have a different perspective.

Personally, I find the brighter colours distinguish "hidden" things much faster and more easily, with bland colours, things are more likely to merge and one gets less of a 3D effect!.

What is easy for one, may be difficult for another and they may be drawn to a perspective that differs from most other people

Thanks for the visit, I notice you are putting up a better type of post now, unlike that other dreadful one.

katyzzz,

It appears you're doing with color what some of us try to do with words. Am I close?

Not really, but thankyou for your visit, I love visitors, especially when they leave comments.

But it is an interesting point of view and a valid perspective.

I attract the interest with the art hoping to achieve my objectives.

Dean,

I'm glad you found it confusing. That's good exercise for the brain. It becomes easier with time. It was nice of you to come for a visit. I hope to see you again, soon

Lilla,

Thank you and hang in there, I really like studies in blues and pinks, there's plenty rolling along. I guess I'll take a short break soon.

Hey Katy, curiosity question -- when you say "a new approach", what was the old approach? How do you usually go about creating your art?

Adrian,

A new approach just means a new style of presentation.

After the initial clumsy, get nothing attempts it's all trial, error and inspiration and one thing leads to another, but I try to cater for a very wide audience that is why you get such a mixture. It's not all about me and what I can do, it's a lot about you and others!

katyzzz Thanks for all your very helpful comments
