The workshops will be at the Cherokee Nation Child Development Center in Tahlequah, 16947 W. Cherokee St.

“The Crucial Role of Social-Emotional Development in School Readiness” shows participants ways to prepare young children for the learning environment they will encounter when they begin attending school. The workshop will cover interactive activities that teach children how to effectively learn and fully benefit from the education they receive.
Seating is limited to 50. Attendees must apply by March 24 and be approved by the Cherokee Nation Child Care Resource Center. If selected to attend, applicants will be notified. To apply: (918) 453-5300 or visit www.cherokeekids.net.
