Britney, clicks, pics, chics, digital painting
October 1st 2007 05:55
Although I suspect this picture is based on pixels too, otherwise it would not be here, for those who like 'painted' art I guess they'll feel a little happier with this one.
I hope the problem will be fixed soon and we'll be able to return to normal, meanwhile thank you for your patience.
VIDEO
Yes, it's Britney again, as so many people seem to like those videos.
PHOTOGRAPHS
With the Aries red there is no way that I would not like this one.

A close-up of meerkat in the Kalahari Desert shows its sturdy, rakelike claws, an important adaptation for their tunneling lifestyle.
Meerkats are master excavators, frequently digging themselves entirely out of sight in pursuit of potential meals, which include beetles, scorpions, insect larvae, and small reptiles.

THE BRAIN
The University of Auckland has found that alcohol does not make it easier to 'forget your sorrows', in fact, it enhances them.
But it does impair memory if it is heavy consumption but that is longterm, irreparable damage.
We all have the capacity to forget painful experiences and that is not restricted to drinkers.
So it looks as if drinking to forget is a waste of time. It may cause us to remember it more.
That's something to think about isn't it?

I do hope you like all of these, as I'm almost 'back on board.

Flashes of memories
What a cute little guy too!
There is something about a painting that captures emotion that a photograph cannot, no matter how skilled the photographer. I reckon it comes from knowing that a hand has actually painted that (although I don`t deny that skill is required in taking particularly good photographs)
Meerkats are interesting animals... see them scurrying along and then standing tall to look around them.
I hope you manage to sort out your comp problems soon - or at least the powers that be sort it out! How frustrating!

MS Paint Art
I guess comparisons are odious, and mspaintart.com does have to give precedence to computer art and I am receiving high praise for that elsewhere.
But it's no use chasing links at present as they'd get entirely the wrong idea.
Yes, all of these things are very frustrating along with not being able to process things in a timely manner but it has been a long weekend and that does make a difference, so I made up my mind not to worry about it but I don't actually like being linked with other people's 'stuff'. They may think it's me.
I sometimes see attitude which would not help anyone having a particular set of problems and far removed from my ideals.
Hopefully, this will all be sorted out quite quickly. I certainly hope so.
You know what they say 'more haste less speed' and as for the art I don't think any of the old masters would have been rushing to put their fine artwork onto a blog. I sometimes think people lose track of where they actually are.
My art does take a certain time and a certain inspiration and needs to be produced quite quickly, it's a means to an end, not an end it itself. And photography is a different art again.
I was trying to point out the benefits of computers in reproducing images with pixels, otherwise these pictures and everyone else's would not be here.
Thanks for the visit and for your interest. Art forms do not rest well with comparisons.
My blog is described as unique, let's hope I can turn that to my advantage somehow.
Keep up your good work, you're going great, when do we get Ash in the bikini, I think I'll borrow Chic's image for me.
