Doctors I've dealt with in the past, usually hold me to such a high standard as a contractor, that no living person can live up to their demands or expectations; if I built something for them in the wrong location, they'd sue me into oblivion. The high nosed pompous asses should collectively be held to those same standards and receive punishment comparable to that which they'd hand down katyzzz. Not that I'm tainted, I'm an equal opportunity crank. Raven

God knows what they'd cut off if they got the area wrong in a tonsilectomy.

Maybe the brain's a bit more complicated, but wrong side? Raven you ARE cranky to-day, have a little brain surgery but stay awake during the procedure so you can tell them which side.

We all need doctors, just try taking out your own appendix.

Interesting, if it's not you, isn't it? Michaelie has the right idea, the vocal cords could go perhaps, or maybe the tongue, if they get the tonsils mixed up.

Good post katyzzz

Raven, I'm lost for words, so aggro, no better nor worse than others in the community, just think of all the surgery that does go right, and there's no coming back next week with emergency surgery, I guess this is extreme and one wonders HOW, not looking at nor understanding the X-rays properly maybe, but that is inexcusable and how much time do they spend in preparation? Sounds like they don't know the patient very well. Behind closed doors with the
'victim' asleep perhaps, no questions asked.

Michaelie, you've put a humorous touch on it, and Crystal, you've done my job for me, yes, Raven is a bit 'touchy' today, not his usual self.

Thank you all.

Aimz, I understand your concerns

MNG, I don't think it's dyslexia although the thought did cross my mind, but I do think they have read th scans etc wrong way around and have not had enough interaction with the patient, that way they would know even without the tests which side of the head they should be working on.

Crazy, the fines show they had no justifiable excuses, just imagine the times things happen when they "make" up an excuse and call it justified.

Investigative bodies are often almost totally incompetent or else feel it's their duty to 'turn a blind eye'

Sad, infuriating but true and I bet they get paid a lot more than we do, e.g. to run docs and let little kids be abused and killed and blame funding instead of getting out of their overly priced chair and DOING SOMETHING.
