Unchain your brain! - learning to draw.

Like Vincent Van Gogh, you must have faith in the learning process and anchor your studies to it long enough for it to bear fruit. In doing so, you can turn a small seed of aptitude into expertise that others may describe as genius. Do not be discouraged by a lack of progress early on, which is all but inevitable. Read, experiment and collaborate for 10,000 hours. If you avoid the traps you will unchain your brain. ( the art of three disciplines )

Even in my mathiest courses I find it irresistible to doodle in the margins of my notes. I like to think of it as balancing the left and right sides of my brain but that’s just sugar coating my short attention span. ( Chris Ing)

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
— Albert Einstein

Let computers compute and the right side of your brain develop. But I still think they'll pay more for those who join with computers to compute, in the majority of cases, anyway.

So unchain your brain before it breaks your heart.
